Here’s a treat for you Ladies! (And Gents too)!
Peppermint Patty Foot Scrub
1 cup coarse sea salt
5 tablespoons olive or coconut oil
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup fresh mint, minced
3 drops peppermint essential oil (optional)
Coarse sea salt is too abrasive to use on your face, but it’s perfect for sloughing dead skin off your feet, while the olive or coconut oil helps soften calluses and repair cracks. For best results, do this at night: First soak your feet in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes (or scrub them at the end of your shower or bath). If you have really thick calluses, try using a foot file or pumice stone before scrubbing. Then massage the scrub into your feet in a circular motion, spending the most time on the roughest areas. Don’t forget your ankles and the tops of your toes. Rinse off with warm water, pat dry, then apply a rich foot cream (or more olive or coconut oil). Slip on a pair of old socks so you don’t leave greasy footprints everywhere.

It is refreshing to see corporation that put their workers above the “bottom line”. I’m not saying that the bottom line is not important, after all, corporations are in business to make money, but there needs to be a humane side of corporations – treat the workers right, and they will exude such infectious attitude that brings (and keeps) customers coming into your store.
It isn’t just what you know, and it isn’t just who you know. It’s actually who you know, who knows you, and what you do for a living.
